Born Wellingborough, England

Played youth at Ipswich Town FC where he was coached and mentored by Sir Bobby Robson.
Was also mentored by Sir Alf Ramsey winner of the 1966 World Cup.

Moved to the US at age 15. Played for the Kansas City Spurs

As a player and head coach has won 9 National Championships, 1 International Cup, 6 Runner-up National Championships, 2 International Cup runner-up, 6 regional championships, 18 State Championships, 15 league championships, 8 youth league championships, 8 undefeated seasons.

On March 27, 2022 earned 1100th coaching victory from the Victoria SC women’s first game.

Has 15 years of college coaching, 30 years youth coaching, 28 years coaching professional & semi-professional teams. Has coached in Goodwill Games, Pan American Games, World Championships, Junior World Championships, 9 United States Olympic Festivals. Part the United States Olympic Training Center Elite Athlete training program as both a player and coach. Spent a full season studying coaching with Arsenal FC. Spent shorter periods at Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs, AZ Alkmaar, Ajax, and many lower division clubs.
